"I found Art of Noise through the Chrysler 300 / LX Forums. And I can simply say "Thanks Art of Noise!" You provided exactly what I was looking for, an increase in sound quality, aesthetic upgrade, and my trunk space restored so I can actually use it. My 2 L/R 12" sub enclosures solved a "problem area" in my car to perfection.

Through the initial consultation process and to completion, Rob demonstrated clear and expert level knowledge. I had a lot of questions, but Rob took the time to clearly explain the different scenarios that I needed to understand.

The product is quality, exactly what I was seeking, and I am very pleased. I would come again, recommend to friends, and trust Art of Noise.

Thank you for pimping my Audio! SOOOOOO much better.."

"I would also like to give Rob at AoN credit for a job well done. I only have one 10" Image Dynamics Sub (not exactly top of the line) with only 350WattsRMSx1 @ 2 Ohms from an Alpine Mono Sub Amp. The enclosure looks and sounds incredible. Rob has been a huge help too. I have not dynamatted yet, and it sounds incredible."

"With my crazy work schedule I finally had a day off on Sunday and decided to get the Art of Noise (AoN) sub boxes in and get rid of that big carpeted sealed box taking up my cargo space. I had my sub boxes covered with a simulated carbon fiber and they turned out GREAT! Rob even included the screws and a driver for the mounting of the subs.

I used a hole saw and punched a 3/4 hole in the lower inside front of the two cargo pockets. I then fed the sub wires through each side To prep the boxes Rob included insulation which slows down the sound waves a bit and really seems to enhance the subs...

One side note... When Rob and I were discussing design and performance I wanted to address the possibiltiy of the subs canceling each other out since they were in opposing positions from each other... Rob can show you the formula to see which frequency(s) may get canceled. Because of this possibility he made the boxes so that the speakers were slightly angled backwards and up. This was a bit tricky since the Type R speakers are so deep and we wanted the cargo tray to still be able to be raised up without being impeded by the speakers.

After evenly distributing the insulation I mounted the new Alpine Type R 10" subs in the boxes... Torqued them down and did a pre-check to make sure the connections were correct. (Rob had made sure to give me 4 posts to connect to for dual or single voice coil modes). I angled the sub boxes into the pockets, slowly pulling the slack out of the sub wires, then gave them their final shove home.

After neatening up the wires (my amps and capacitor are on a custom platform where the spare tire use to be) I put both the cargo trays back in... I fired up the stereo and was amazed at the fact the subs sounded better in these new boxes verses a sealed standard sub box.

Complete install time was 30 minutes if that... and that included a quick phone call from a buddy...

I cannot stress enough how happy I am with these Art of Noise boxes... My overall scoring is based on 1-10, 1 being worst and 10 being best.

Fit and finish of boxes - 10
Install ease - 10
Sound performance - 10
Customer service - 20
(yeah, Rob went well out of his way giving me great service)
Price - 10
(For what I paid I would be hard pressed to find some place to make even one custom box)
Overall Satisfaction - 100...

Thank you Rob for the great service, wonderful product, and allowing me to get my valuable cargo space back."
